The bag has no holes. I got it out in 2020, changed oil, put some fresh gas, and to my surprise worked. I used to use it mow around our landscaping for a couple of years, until we changed some things. One of the back wheels does have a small hole still works fine.
This thing is a tank it can sit and will always start for me. It sat in storage for about 3 decades. My parents bought it new and used until the late 80's, when they got a rider. Here is an old school Toro with the cast aluminum deck, so it won't rust or crack.
I've never even had to clean the carb. I just tested it and started on second pull. Model 20661 made in 1983. Mower and self propel still work great.
