The short of it engine does not run but trans work at all no drive function or hydro lift. The air cleaner is very dirty also lots of dirt in housing noticed underneath so has probably gotten into motor.
I think the electric clutch is a year or two years old. To ensure your satisfaction I highly encourage questions. Trans axle: the trans axle doesn't work at all no movement hydro lift. Their might be other things missing than I mentioned.
The spool valve for rear pto has some rust pits and or spots on it. Steering has side to play. I bought this machine to resell as you can see in my other offers sell used mowers lawn and garden equipment that need work. Deck: their is a large crack in the deck on top I put my finger by it picture its much larger than you can see about foot long.
Noticed some mice have been in the air cleaner they may built nest under motor shields is common on old mowers. Wire for headlights might have some burn spots its just dangling.
The wiring for electric clutch and in some other areas looks like its spliced into or repaired. The motor ran about three weeks ago but currently it does not run I am thinking is spark related.
The spool valve moves in and out, has a metal stopper that can be removed I didn't remove it to see if could move further not sure is original equipment. The blade spindles have bearing play with spindle feeling like housing has loosened from deck. Hydraulic hoses on the machine have cracks in them.
The deck lift cylinder is oily might be leaking or something near it. Don't know if theirs any rust spots were the spool valve would actually go into sleeve looks like it does have scratches in that area. The mower has rust and paint fading. The prior owner said mower would go through belts.
Hour says it has 843 hours not sure if works. One head light works. Up for sale is a Ingersoll 4020 with mower deck and rear hydro pto. The hydro pump wobbles when engine cranks so that might mean shaft is bent.
The choke and throttle have an homemade set up see picture it works original cables has been disconnected with at least one maybe both cut. Cap to steering wheel missing. When you turn the engine over it looks as if fly wheel is going faster than hydro pump shaft I assume they are suppose to spin at same speed maybe a key way broken also like has backed away from motor, bracket and that in not resting on its stop slipped back angle its bent or dislodged flywheel.
The electric clutch feels like it works if you turn on will rotate motor. Cosmetic: tires have dry rot cracks. Engine: the engine ran when I first got it currently does not run did was about three weeks ago sounded like could hear rattling internally while running so may have some mechanical issues. Seats in pretty bad shape with tears and cracks.
The trans axle has a lot of grease and oil on it in different spots from things leaking. Looks like some of the motor shields and bolts are missing not sure if that has damaged at being ran with out those. I can't get the shiftier to go into high range, when it goes low doesn't feel like engages. I haven't had to add any air them one or both of the front tires might be soft.
The starter doesn't engage sometimes. Theirs a lot of oil and grease in the area that pump is. The spool valve has a black colored ring around it on smooth area that goes into sleeve like had been sitting in one spot for while what I assume is closed position. Does not come with a battery.
