I did pull the starter cord on this one, and it does turn. I bought this machine because its a bricktop, and 21 inch deck, which is little unusual for bricktop. With a little tinkering i'm sure this machine will give many years of faithful service for your efforts.
Heres an opportunity to grab one for a reasonable price. I looked for the handle this machine but cannot find it. It does have a hole in the magnesium deck just forward of rear wheel and behind discharge chute. It runs on a 32 to one mix of gas and oil.
Most of my bricktop are 18 inch. It also seems to have compression. I did not try to start it. Remember sesame street. Anyway, this machine has been stashed away for many years along with others waiting me to get around getting it running and all fixed up.
Its possible I never had one for it. This mower has been brought to you by the year 1966, letter l, and number After so many years its getting obvious i'm never going to get around it. It doesn't have a crank case like the new 4 cycle engines, which makes perfect for mowing on steep inclines without worrying about oil starvation and engine damage.
Anyway, if you're still reading, probably familiar with these machines and know how great they really are. It does not seem like has any adverse effect on the structural integrity of deck because where is, but its a hole and needs to be mentioned.
