The deck is far from perfect but this mower almost 40 years old. Deck is still very usable and shows well.
The 8671 mulch-r-catch is a very unique Lawn-Boy model that would make addition to your collection. Should be ready for another decade of dependable mowing. Dark green wheels have been drilled and bronze bushings installed new piston, rings, honed cylinder connecting rod bearing crank bearing, seals gaskets solid state ignition coil armature plate orig.
This mower has been a part of my collection for several years now. It is an outstanding mulching mower and also includes a complete rear bagging kit which has seen very little use.
Was broken off new self propelled drive shaft and spring gearbox greased deck repainted with grabber green. I will have to disassemble this mower for shipping. I have refreshed this machine with many new parts and it is ready to go. It is a dependable machine that can be used regularly.
It starts easy and runs strong.
