New transmission can be bought from sears for tractor is about 6 years old and has only 221 hrs. This was always kept inside and regularly maintained. It has a 54 triple blade cutting deck and 26hp Kohl 2 Cl engine starts runs excellent.

10 or you can find used transmissions for around 200 on the internet. If your handy you can buy and install a transmission have very nice powerfully tractor for great price. Either way there is value here.

I'm selling my Craftsman lawn tractor which has a bad 6 speed transmission, up until the transmission went everything else worked great and still does can be demonstrated.
