Details:
I replaced the battery and now starts and runs perfect. The bearings in the deck where replaced around 4 years ago as 1 of them was bad, 1 was a little loose and the third got changed just because. I'm selling because I don't need such a large machine anymore and need to buy a smaller one. Last summer I sold the 9 acre property and now only cut about 3/4 acre.
It has been used for nothing but cutting grass. Power steering and hydro static transmission. In perfect working condition this mower sells for about you are purchasing only a deposit for the John Deere listed.
It has been kept in the garage and well maintained. The dash fuel and hour gauges stopped working properly this summer when the battery gave out. I have been mowing about acres of grass with it for about 10 years with no problems other than the ones mentioned.
I expect there is about hours on it now. I am in Albion, NY tractor is also listed on Rochester cl. On a scale 1 10, this would be an 8. The standard turf tires are original and in good shape with just a little age cracking on the sidewalls.
It has a 62 deck. The hour meter stopped working about 4 years ago and was around 425 hours at age 6. The oil has been changed every spring and air filters every other year. I have maintained it myself over the years.
It runs excellent and has never had any problems with the motor. I am the original owner. New battery.
I bought it new around selling my John Deere X495 diesel tractor. I'm selling this for 4500 due to the defects it has, the overall condition the mower is great other than the dash not working which is a common problem as I have read. Diesel 3 cylinder engine.
