As you can see from photos this mower does cut well, discharging to the sides. Vintage hard to find Sunbeam electric mower model RE-1000 each of the spindles has 2 blades each, which gives a total 18 inches cutting width flip over design handle allows you change direction with-out having take extra time rearranging and moving power supply cord. On off switch handle allows easy or that is wonderful compared to having re-start a gasoline engine powered mower electric motor volts , 8 amps, 60 cycle. Caution: mfg.

Just flip handle and start cutting in the opposite direction. This mower has total of 5 different cutting height available in 1/2 inch increments. States that as with any electric powered tool it should never be operated in the rain or on wet grass.

This mower has a aluminum body which keeps its weight low for easy handling and if you want it can be hung up storage.
